Name: Oliver Brownlow on Jan 30, 2007Comments: The length of the sentence is totally out of proportion to the relatively minor offence Dan has committed (especially so when you take into consideration that he entered India for survival purposes and gave himself in to the authorities). It was, after all, a victimless act.Flag

Name: Joanne Brandenburg on Jan 31, 2007Comments: I am also a pilgrim recently returned from Santiago de Compostella (Spain) - The idea that justice has been done in imprisoning a pilgrim seems unbelievible. Pilgrims walked to be forgiven for their wrong doings, to seek truth in madness. I can only mystic-ly believe that due to the land Dan choose to walk upon that he came against karmic beliefs in the collective thought, therefore his surrender and forgiveness of the situation could free the minds of many And maybe even free him earlier than advised. I will send healing.Flag
