Name: C.BRATHERTON on Mar 6, 2013Comments: Mr McGee has always been a nice man when to is on duty, always has a smile on his face and always has time to help you in anyway, I cant see how this has happened because its not in his nature. i feel this is a miscarriage of justice and he has been made a scapegoat, its not fair at allFlag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 12, 2013Comments: The judge stated that he believed that Chris knew that Georgia was as drunk as she was. When did this belief become clear to the judge, was after he had seen the carraige footage, or was some other occasion, or was it after the coroner had revealed how much Georgia had drunk, it would valuable to know when he formed this valuable opinion. So that the train guards understand this for future reference. If it was the carriage then the judge obviously was not listening to the case because Chris could not see thatFlag

Name: D Bramell on Mar 16, 2013Comments: The judge found chris guilty because he believed ,moving the train had a substantial effect on georgia falling, ignoring the fact that georgia had fallen out of the car taken her to the party, fallen down the stairs and knocked herself unconsious at the party home, then fallen several times walking to the train station,Georgia would have fallen under the train that chris was on,but she was stopped by a member of the public not her friends.Georgia had fallen numerous on the train,or did the judge feel was this not pertinent in trial. Were the jury informed of these facts or did they choose to ignore them.Chris did not see Georgia fall once so he did not know the extent of her intoxication and what a danger she was to herself and to everybody on the trainFlag

Name: Robert Stott on Mar 20, 2013Comments: Firstly, my thoughts are with Christopher McGee and his family. The girl who sadly lost her life, was under the legal age for consuming alcohol and was three times over the UK legal drink drive limit, at least, at the time of the incident. In my opinion, a sober person, or even a person under the influence of alcohol can feel and hear the difference between a stationary train and a moving train and would have the presence of mind to move back. For this reason, I can not see how Christopher McGee is to blame for this death. The verdict should have been Accidental Death, and McGee's sentence needs reversing.Flag

How can you seriously judge someone under the influence from 20-30 metres away and when hundreds, if not thousands of other under the influence passengers have acted similarly, he can't be held responsible for one passenger being so intoxicated she can't even take care of herself!Flag
