Comments: We have to deal with the effects of alcohol on a daily basis, but when its drugs as well, its a hole new ball game. Maybe if there had been more parental guidance, this might not have happened. We all make mistakes. Good luck Chris.

Comments: Christopher McGee, a train guard, cannot be held fully and solely responsible for the death of a 16yr old girl who was very drunk (unable to support herself upright it seems). Whilst he maybe to blame for commiting an error in either not seeing Georgia, or misjudging her anticiapted response, train dispatch crew cannot be held responsible 100% for the behaviour of drunken adults.

Comments: This is a disgrace and an affront to British justice. It appears that the CPS go after "easy" targets, presumably playing the numbers game so beloved of bureaucracy. The Guard may have contributed to the death but it appears that the victim was largely responsible, due to her very intoxicated state. Reverse this ludicrous decision now!

Comments: The immediate and casual causes of this unfortunate fatality were, in my view (having read the *full* report) system and environmental. The combination of which should NOT result in a jail sentence for the guard who was doing his best to control a loud and drunken crowd. Many factors would have prevented the young person from killing herself, but almost any other action by the guard would not have. Platform-edge protection and in-cabin monitors seem to me to be a far better provision than a prison sentence! Regards, Simon
