Name: Anonymous on Nov 29, 2012Comments: Train dispatch procedure flawed, where is the dispatcher on the platform to deal with passengers, how can a guard be expected to control a situation at one end of the platform from the rear of the train. If he had followed the Merseyrail procedure the outcome would have been the same, this shows the system does not work. Employ some platform staff so the guard can shut his door within time and the platform staff give the signal to say all passengers clear, and there will be no delay impact minutes.Flag

Name: Ian Townsend on Nov 29, 2012Comments: A complete miscarriage of justice. This man was used as a convenient scapegoat for a tragic accident. Why are none of the other people involved being prosecuted? The drug and alcohol sellers, the person who sold the train ticket when it is a criminal offence to, what about her so-called friends. The man was an easy target. The parents and friends have a lot to answer for.Flag
