Name: Paddy McColl on Nov 20, 2012Comments: This girl is dead not because of the train guard, but because of her idiot parents and friends. Her mother said all 16 year-olds go out and drink and take drugs? maybe the low-life she hangs round with but any decent parents would ground a teenager for getting in that state once, never mind every weekend. Refusing to take responsibility, typical of some of the scum around these days. And to those that say she was a 'good girl' - she was drunk and drugged at 16, not a 'good girl' by any stretch of the imagination.Flag

Also, she was under age to be going to town (to drink at clubs) anyway. Which she was doing.Flag

I know that to find someone guilty and sentence them to five years without giving any responsibility to the actions of the young girl or her family who seemed to think going out and taking drugs and drinking was a normal thing for a 16 year old makes me think that this sentence is way too harsh.Flag
