Name: Greg BELL on Nov 19, 2012Comments: He may well have been guilty of some degree of negligence, but imprisonment for 5 years is absolutely disgraceful when vicious thugs, muggers and burglars who have deliberately target their victims get far less... Tragic though the case is - the 16 year old was very drunk and had taken drugs - her parents deserve some blame too!!Flag

Name: Ezman on Nov 20, 2012Comments: The guards view of platform is fleeting and as he steps into the train he can see nothing. Platforms are dangerous places and passengers have a duty to be in control of themselves. Three times over the driving limit and with illegal drugs in system! Guards have to assume that passengers will act sensibly and reasonably or no train would ever leave any platform anywhere.Flag

Name: Jan Williams on Nov 20, 2012Comments: 1 guard,1 driver,1 train,11.01pm departs from west kirby to liverpool, the last in service 3 carriages attached, always popular to club and party go"ers.Tragic fatal accident were a young life ,was living a lifestyle in her belief that she was an adult, that was her own choice. Ive travelled twice a week, late in the evenings to and from work for over 12yrs now, some times ive seen 2 enforcement officers walk through the 3 carriages for extra security am told.To seccure what exactly...... ???. and why then have i never seen enforcement officers onboard the trains that the guards and drivers are solely responsible for the health + safety, of the popular last train, of party, club go'ers ,in reality it could be,as many as 3carriages full of customers, who just like Georgia, payed not just 4a ticket, but also with her life. How the hell is just 1guard responsible, when literally it was an accident, just waiting to happen.Alot of the public are in disbelief and dispute manslaughter charge, along with sadness in support to all family, freinds of Georgia + to the guard, his family + freinds.Flag
