Comments: Poor man. He is not a criminal, and shouldn't be treated as such. I think he will suffer enough, without the added trauma of a jail sentence.

Comments: There shoulder of responsibility should lie with her friends, some of whom were over the age of 18yrs (fact), the parents who's house she was evidently drunk in and her parents. This is a catalogue of errors and one man should not take the fall for this.

Comments: A tragedy the death of that lovely girl but the guard is not entirely responsible for it. A Suspended sentence might have been more appropriate-- Christopher McGee and his family will suffer enough in any case.

Comments: why should an innocent man be responsible for a girl who was drunk, under the influence of other substances and underage, this was a tragic accident , if someone needs to be blamed then there are plenty that come much higher on the list.

Comments: Very difficult job being train guard on busy weekends when everyones drunk.Am sure he didnt mean to purposely injure kill anyone, although he was probably negligent. Recently read in paper of bloke who sped at well over 100mph whilst in chase from police & also high on drink & drugs - he walked free from caught. Where is justice in these 2 cases.
