Name: Denise Frimston on Nov 18, 2012Comments: My husband works on the railway as a guard, and this story makes me worried. Why has Mr McGee's company not supported him in this? They seem to be condoning people under the influence of alcohol and drugs using the railway, which must be wrong. Why weren't the police there? As an underground station, where were the station staff? What did the company do to help this guard deal with such a person? If you are going to encourage alcohol and drug abusers to be customers of the railway purely in the interests of profit, surely you must as a company take the responsibility when that leads to a person who is clearly incapable of looking after themselves getting kiled like this. Mr McGee may have made a mistake, but I think his company are the root cause of the problem and therefore they should take responsibility for this..Flag
