Comments: Accidental death brought on by drink and drugs killed this young girl, not the rail guard.

Comments: Although I deeply sympathise with this girls friends and family I think it is really harsh as tha poor man has to live with the fact he made a mistake and a young life was lost day in day out I think his consciense is enuff punishment at the end of the day where was this girls family and friends while she was getting off her face? There's more than one person to blame for this tradgedy !

Comments: If Merseyrail would have put platform staff on duty to despatch trains safely this tragic accident could have been avoided, while I feel sympathy towards the young girls family for their loss throwing the train guard into jail is not the answer - Please listen to the general public and let this man free. Merseyrail have declined to comment in the Echo tonight - no surprises there!

Comments: This is a complete miscarrage of justice. This train guard of many years dedicated service, was trying to do his job inspite of rowdy drunken teenagers disrupting the train - of which Georgia Varley was one. Georgia's mother failed in her duty of care, as did her friends and the adult whose house the party was in. This guard is the scapegoat.

Comments: What a disgusting verdict, it is obvious this is a miscarriage of justice, the girls were at fault for being in the state they were in, he had obviously tried to help her. WHO WAS THE JUDGE WHO GAVE THIS BLIND VERDICT???? Watch out everyone who gets this judge to sentence them. you!!!!!
