Name: Anonymous on Nov 15, 2012Comments: This poor guard did not go out to work that night with the intention of killing someone. Neither did the young girl go out with the intention of putting herself in danger. A lot of people that night should hold their hands up from her parents, the parents who the girl was supposedly been in the care of that night her friends, the ticket officer at manor rd, the guard on the train mersey rail themselves as they should have station staff on the platform more so at weekends and the poor girl herself. Blame won't bring her back but lessons should be learnt from this.Flag

Name: Matt on Nov 15, 2012Comments: He was found guilty under the law by a jury of normal people, but I dont believe this should result in a prison sentence, prison is there to rehabilitate people and protect the public. this man is not a danger to any of us, surely a non custodial sentence along with support for him to come to terms with his decision that night would better serve the public and the man himself. my thoughts go out to the family of the girl though and the hurt they must be suffering, lets face it how many of us have made poor decisions in the past, non of us are angels. this was a terrible accident caused my a lot of unfortunate events.Flag
