We, the residents of Chapel Hill/Carrboro, North Carolina, demand of the Florida Parole Board, the full release to freedom of Bruce Thomas. Bruce has demonstrated over the past 17 years that he is a vital and integral part of our community. He has made his presence known by his loving kindness and has made a difference in the lives of many of our citizens. Indeed, it is our privilege to have Bruce Thomas in our midst, working, playing and teaching us how to live. We repeat our demand that the Florida Parole Board recognize Bruce's demonstrated attributes that make him deserving of freedom and exemplary of what the FPB seeks to achieve through its system.
