The petition

PRIMARY GOAL OF PETITION:
We, the undersigned, oppose this proposed Target store as presently designed. This Target would be located within the Shoppes at Wyndham Village development, on the corner of Hwy 100 and Drexel Ave. in Franklin, WI (South of Drexel, East of Hwy 100).

The development proposes 8 buildings in a civic center zoned area, with two anchor stores: Target and Sendik's Food Store.

We firmly believe that a more sensitive and better architecturally designed development would serve our city better in its future plans.

Therefore, we STRONGLY urge city decision-makers or whomever it concerns to propose better architectural standards for the Target anchor store.

SECONDARY GOAL OF PETITION:
Also, other suggested ideas that we would like city decision-makers to take into consideration are:

1. A smaller footprint
2. The possibility of underground parking
3. Moving the storm-water basin out of the natural resources
4. Reduced surface parking
5. A "green" roof for the project

We believe making those changes would help maintain the aesthetic appeal and air quality of our community.
