As Frank Lampard is leaving Chelsea Football Club due to his contract running out, I and many other Chelsea fans all agree that Chelsea's number 8 should be retired in honour of Frank Lampard's incredible services that he's provided the club with. Retiring a number means that the number can never be worn again and doing this would show huge amounts of respect to him. He is one of Chelsea's all time greatest ever players and deserves as much respect as possible for everything he has done.

Here are some of his greatest achievements whilst at Chelsea FC -

He has given his all to the club and the fans have so much respect for him. We are all extremely thankful that he played for us and it's so heart breaking to see him leave Chelsea on a free.

All the Chelsea fans will miss him greatly and most fans of the Premier League will miss see him play on a regular basis at such a high quality. We all wish him the best at his new club which ever that may be and he will always be a blue.
