    Comments: Fr. Graf raised my prayer life to a higher level. We were residents of SCW for 18 yrs and knew and loved Fr. Graf. I am sure God has forgiven. He made the celebration of Mass for me, there was no looking at the time. We need more Priests like him.

    Comments: I do not know Fr. Harold Graf personally, so I cannot make a first - hand case for his character, other than to say that he is a priest. I do, however, see contradictions in the charter's messages in light of Jesus' parables about the sinful woman, Matthew, Paul, and Peter.

    Comments: Fr. Graf is one of the reasons I converted to the Catholic religion. I believe that he is more in touch with reality and life than most priests I have met. He has the gift to share and communicate his joy in the Lord in a most inspiring way. He has helped me to deal with the death of my father and to have a stronger faith and committment to community. I personally can testify to his value to the church and to the Catholic community.

    Comments: During the time that we went to Blessed Sacrament, I really enjoyed Father Graf. Father Dan, Father Frank, and Father Graf made up the most wonderful set of priests in one parish that I have ever attended. Father Graf's influence on the masses and my family had a very positive effect. I hope that you can reinstate him because he is one of the finest priests that I have had the pleasure to know.

    Comments: I support the reinstatement of Fr. Graf. I do not blame Bishop O'Brien for this. His hands were tied to force him to do what he had to do, but the "penalty" in this case was far too severe.

    Comments: I would not support this petition. Fr. Graf was sent to our former Parish, Blessed Sacrament. The Bishop led us to believe we were getting someone special, instead we got a real asshole and pedophile. My ex-wife was fired as youth minister when she reported that the DRE's son was selling drugs to youth group members. Fr. Graf knew for a fact this was true. What I find most sinful was that the Bishop allowed this creep to serve at the Newman Center in Flagstaff at the NAU campus. Re-instate Graf, no. Put him in prison where he belongs along with the Bishop's who knew about, covered up and then put him in direct contact with college age youth.

His friendship and genuine concern for the students there remain as some of my fondest memories. I was outraged to learn that at a time when the Church was failing to address current problems, he was made a scapegoat for a single incident from the distant past. Fr. Graf deserves to be reinstated.

    Comments: From a pre-seminarian: In 1990, Harold Graf attempted to coerce me into having a homosexual affair with him after he confided in me that he had a homosexual affair with a male student when he was a priest at the Neuman Center at NAU. Harold Graf should NOT be reinstated.

    Comments: I knew, and spent a lot of time with Fr. Graf when I was at the Newman Center 83-88' at NAU. He showed me much charity, and welcomed me to his home, and we broke bread. This meant a lot to be when I was far from my home during those years. Fr. Graf was a welcoming person. He preached the Gospell from his heart, and administered sacraments faithfully. Since my days at NAU, I have worked as a pastoral minister,and for the last 15 years I have worked for CPS as a Social Worker. He is no threat to children, he is not a pedophile. I pray for him, and were he to be reinstated as a priest, I would celebrate with him. God Bless You Harold.
