| 1 | janet green | As this town has many tourists as well as residents who use the post office this is a busy busy office and moving this to W.H. Smith will be a disaster why cant the Post office remain in the High Street with its own identity |
| 2 | Anonymous | I feel the Fort William branch of WH Smith is too small to cope with the amount of resident & tourists who use our Post Office. |

| 4 | Dr. D.A.L.Watt | I do not believe that Fort William post office is under threat of closure because of under usage! I cannot accept that the deliberate policy of separating the Royal Mail into three companies can be used as justification for physical separation of the counter service from the other mail - related activities, nor hat the deliberate governmental policy of removing business from the Post Office can then be used as anj excuse for closure on the basis of falling activity! |

| 11 | Cllr. Brian J Murphy | This move by Royal Mail Group is totally unnecessary and unjustified, and has no support from the Fort William public. |
