| 301 | R. Veronique Fitzgerald | This neighborhood has a great deal of social services at present. With the renaissance that is rejuvinating St. George, this facility would be a step in the wrong direction. Find someplace else. |
| 302 | Anonymous | This is a bad idea and unfair to the residents in St. George. I'm sure there is real estate somewhere in Tottenville for sale. Or do you not want to tarnish such a neighborhood????? |
| 303 | Tia Johnson | I really feel that opening this facility in our residential neighborhood is not a good move for improving the neighborhood. We have an elementary school only a block away. I thoroughly agree with the petition and want our local polititians to do whatever they can to stop it from opening.
Thank you. Tia Johnson
a resident of the neighborhood. |

| 306 | Anonymous | There is so much effort to bring that area back! |
| 307 | bain coffman | What was the impetus behind this proposal? It's mind-boggling that it should have gotten this far. Who is benefiting...economically, personally.... |
| 308 | Anonymous | A large residential facility dealing with such a specialized population without proper 24hr. on-site care is asking too much of our welcoming community.
This is a BAD idea - that has gone too far. Who is making $$ on this plan? Something else is going on that we as community members are NOT being made aware of. |

| 313 | ALison Show | there are already too many social services on the north shore. |

| 317 | Kathleen Campanelli | I always believed that one day Downtown S.I. would flourish. Adding a facility such as this would certainly not add to the community in a positive way.
I think this would be a very serious mistake |

| 321 | Wendy Pereira-Murphy | The North Shore has long been unfairly burdened with the bulk of social services on Staten Island. Furthermore, I question the wisdom of putting such a facility in the vicinity of so many schools. Finally, as others have mentioned on this petition, Fort Place is a bustling hub; I see how busy it is each morning after I drop my son off at Curtis. I strongly urge those responsible for approving this proposal to reexamine all the considerations at stake. |
