| 1 | Theodore A. Dorian | I am president of the St. George Civic Association, an organization of area residents and businesses that unanimously opposes this facility, even as we have welcomed and tolerated more social service facilities by far than any other part of the borough. It is not a good way to house patients, either for their own sake or the community's. |
| 2 | Sheila C. Swigert | As president of a cooperative apartment building which sits next to the proposed facility, I am totally opposed to St. Vincent's proposal to store parolees and substance abusers with mental problems in this residential area. |

| 7 | Victoria V. Harding | The former convent building could be used in many ways that would greatly benefit the neighborhood and the larger community, including those with mental and other problems who are now served by the many social services presently available in St. George. |

| 11 | Uwe Kristen | Financial greed on St. Vincent's side puts in danger residents on Staten Island. Stop it before the first victim makes the headlines. |

| 14 | Maria Rusolo | It is a shame what St Vincents is getting away with, using lies and taxpayer money. |
| 15 | Linda McMillan | This facility should not be housed in this neighborhood. We already house far too many social service agencies. |

| 18 | John Scarangello | Please reconsider this project. There is a public school on the same block and two HS's literally 4 blocks away. This is definitely a disaster waiting to happen. |

| 20 | nicole langone | I am scared to have this facility next to my home. |

| 28 | Anonymous | The community is already sturated |
| 29 | Mary L. Bullock | Not in my backyard
-- It's already in my backyard, my front yard, the alleys, the main thoroughfares. St. George has more than its share of social services . This facility could tip the balance and destroy any hope of a renaissance. The New York Times already characterized our street life as being "dominated by social service clients." |

| 31 | Sarah Power | Such a facility is not appropriate for this community. There are two lower schools and two high schools within a two-to-three block radius around the site. It could have extremely dire consequences on both our neighborhood and our children. |
| 32 | Jeffrey Gallo | This facility has no place in any residental nieghborhood, especially since it is within 3 blocks of a public schools and in the center of a neighborhood that is trying to survive while the city is dumping every type of social service, group home, treatment center all in ONE community. This will be the tipping point of destroy the neighborhood and is a danger to my child who goes to school one block from the facility and anyone who is trying to be safe walking the streets. This is a terrible social experiment that can only cause harm to my community. Ex cons and mentally unstable individuals (unsupervised) roaming the neighborhood and the State providing free room and board is a disaster waiting to happen.
This facility is categorically wrong and must be stopped. |

| 38 | Joann Wojcik | We all know the need for a facility like this is needed, but not at the location you have choosen. It is surrounded by four school's and the welfare of the children attending these schools should strongly be looked into before any final plans are made. |
| 39 | Joseph X. Safina | For years St.George, Staten Island has been the location of choice for homeless shelters and halfway houses. We now have more than our share and are suffering the consequences: high crime, loitering, littering and daily instances of intimidation. Please do not allow St. Vincent's Medical Center to open yet another halfway house here. Help us in our struggle to improve the quality of our lives and the prospects for our future development as a family-oriented residential community. |

| 48 | Robin Rodriguez | I am opposed of this facility only because it is for people with mental disorders and ex-prisoners. I have two students that attend Curtis HS and I ask that you withdraw your approval and stop this facility. |
| 49 | Ellen Icolari | Our community is surrounded and infiltrated with social services providers. It's time communities in tother parts of the Island do their fair share.
Residnetial communities should not be the first step out of incarceration for mental patients and criminals. |
