| 77 | greg young | i am against BSL just because i believe that you should not judge a book by its cover, in other words pitbulls and other breeds that are considered dangerous should not be discriminated for the way they look . they should be given a chance to prove tat they are loving dogs and are great companions. if people would see how the dogs show love to their owners and other people and not just turn the other way they would realize that they are very loving,loyal,couragous,obediant and well tempered dogs that deserve to live their lives by our side. the dogs that are agressive are taught that way or are chained up for long periods of time that make them agetated because their owner dont spend time with them. so overall its really the owners fault NOT THE DOGS. i think if someone doesnt have the time to train , spend time or just show some love to their dos then they dont need an animal. like i said, im against BSL because its the owners responsibility to take action when it comes to their dog and ive seen plenty of rottweilers,pitbulls,german shepards, and dobermans that were just like babies SO THERE IS NO REASON TO BAN A CERTAIN BREED OF DOGS BECAUSE YOU GO BY HE SAID SHE SAID DISCRIMINATION OF A CERTAIN BREED. if they ban one breed then they will end up baning more and more. GOD PUT THESE ANIMALS ON EARTH SO THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO LIVE RIGHT WHERE THEY BELONG, IN MY HOUSE. |

| 84 | Emily Fitch | I work with dogs almost every day, the only dogs that ever bite me are small breeds. i.e. chihuahuas, pomeranians, and miniature daschunds. I say as long as an owner knows how to train their dog, and does so, then leave them alone! How can people blame a breed for what was bred into them? Yes, they were bred to fight, but not so much anymore, it's going to take awhile for fighting to be completely bred out of them. Don't take the dog away from people who are actually helping the breed!! |
