'opt out' is a system where people have to seriously consider, and make known,their decision not to donate suitable organs upon their death. The present 'opt in' system means people have to decide, and make known, their decision to donate. This means that anyone with no considered views does not donate. If we had the 'opt out' system in place in this country anyone who does not make known their choice would become a donor.This would increase the number of organ donations in a country that desperatly needs them. If, like me, you want more organs available to the medical profession for life saving surgery please sign this petition
