On Friday,26th November 2010,PIL of my friend,Mr.Shoaib Iqbal ( MLA,Ex.Dy.Speaker,Delhi)was item no.28 in the Court of CJI,Supreme Court,of India.We showed our entry passes to the security personnel for entry as visitors in the CJI Court.Security personnel told us to take off our caps.I thought it was required to check inside but he did not ask us to take off our shoes to check inside these,too.We protested but we we were told it was "Sahab ka strict order". Our country's various national leaders-Gandhi ji, Pt.Jawahar Lal Nehru,Masih-ul-Mulk Hakim Ajmal Khan,Maulana Abul Kalam Azad,Mohammad Ali Brothers,Dr.Rajender Prasad,Lal Bahadur Shastri,Dr. Zakir Hussain,Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed,to name some have worn caps.I was wearing white cotton sherwani and cap of the same cloth and color.My father,9late)Mr.Sultan Yar Khan told me, as is generally advised by all parents in India,todress properly when going in public and particularly when going to a revered place or person. This ban on caps should be lifted immediately.I have emailed so to the President of India,Congress President and Registrar,Supreme Court.
