Following on from the adaptation of The White Queen on BBC1, it now seems the perfect time to petition one of the TV channels to adapt The Sunne in Splendour, by Sharon Kay Penman.
This is a much better novel set during the Wars of the Roses, and as it is far more historically accurate than The White Queen and arguably more popular it is only right it is given the chance to shine on TV.
It is about time this era was given the attention it deserves!
