Division I-A Football Playoffs
The Petition
Let it be known to the Division I-A University Presidents, BCS Sponsors, Bowl Committees, and the BSC Selection Committee, that we, the undersigned DECLARE and affirm the following:
1. That the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) process used to determine the National Champion in Division I-A college football is unfair, illogical, and needs to be replaced.
2. That the fairest and most logical way of determining a true National Champion would be through a playoff system.
THEREFORE, be it resolved that we declare our desire for the all above mentioned parties to agree, adopt and implement a playoff for Division I-A college football.
UNTIL the above parties meet our affirmations we will apply as much economic pressure as possible on all parties.
