Food Stamps or the (SNAP) Program needs a major Overhaul. Here are some Facts. About 45 million individuals are on Food Stamps In 2012 a Record $80.4 Billion Dollars was spent by Taxpayers People Can buy Candy and Fountain Drinks People Can't buy Toilet paper or other necessities Non U.S. Citizens can qualify for Benefits The Food Stamp Program needs to be ran like the WIC program. You should be given certain amounts of items you can purchase each month depending on your family size. This would eliminate the junk food and soda that people waste there money on, but would also help to buy the daily necessities ie: Toilet Paper, Paper towels etc...
