The Friends of Ireland Campaign is petitioning the Irish Government and Irish National Institutions to -

1. Provide a single web portal capable of delivering, from their holdings, not only details of Births, Deaths & Marriages but also digitised copies of photographs, maps, letters, newspapers, pamphlets, prints, music & voice recordings, video recordings, content on people / places / events / organisations,  along with associated notes & full source information.
2. Make representations to other Irish National Institutions, where such content is held, for the purpose of obtaining copies of this content and making it available in a similar fashion.
3. Provide State-of-the-Art search capabilities to allow for effective searching.
4. Allow the People of Ireland and the Friends of Ireland to collaborate on the production of their family tree and in the telling of their Story of Ireland.
