Name: Katie Jandl on Dec 30, 2006Comments: Reade is my sister's boyfriend and one of my closest friends. He is truly one of the most considerate people I have ever met. It is not only unbelievable that this has gone on for so long, but is absolutely unfathomable to me that Duke has failed to support Reade, Dave and Colin and the rest of the team throughout this ridiculous ordeal.

Name: Quinn Talley on Jan 8, 2007Comments: I agree wholeheartedly with the Economics Department faculty letter. I would go one step further, and demand the investigation include the actions of the 88 faculty members that fostered an environment where people were encouraged to rush to judgment and assume the three lacrosse team members were guilty of a crime. No investigation will be complete without examining the influence of these professors.

Name: Anonymous on Jan 9, 2007Comments: Duke University needs to support ALL of its students. Faculty that prejudge and attack any student based on race, gender &/or socioeconomic background do not belong at Duke or any other university. If Duke is going to let itself be defined by the Group of 88, then it will only see further declines in its applications.

Name: James C. Ray on Jan 9, 2007Comments: The faculty and administration of Duke University owe apologies to the Alumni, the Durham Community, Students of Duke University, and above all to the three wrongfully accused students. That the students' lawyers could make even a plausible argument that the University undermined their ability to receive a fair trial in Durham County is shocking. Those of the faculty who seem to be hired solely for the toxicity of their opinions should be exorcised.

Name: Karen Humeniuk on Jan 9, 2007Comments: I never believed the charges - though I do believe that modern morals have made the conditions that lead to date rape far too easy and common - because I did not want to believe that three young men, qualified to attend Duke, would be the kind of scum that would gang rape (3 of them working together in a tiny bath in a house filled with other Duke students) a woman that they had hired. If the evidence had been proved my faith wrong, I would have been ashamed of them, but not of any other man at Duke. We are far to quick to destroy this generation of young men, sacrificing them at the feminist alter.
