| 908 | Parik Pilly | Please have the group of 88 removed or censured and given notice their rush to judgment should and will have consequences. This is an utter disgrace at once great university. Please remove these people from the faculty, because money is being wasted on them. |

| 910 | Andrew Calvin | I am a CS graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and a friend of fellow ACC institutes. The arrogant and inflammatory behavior of the "group of 88" was a direct challenge to the innocent before proven guilty foundation of our great country. The group of 88's refusal to make an apology is inexcusable and grossly shameful. Their outrageous attack on the students demonstrates that they lack the responsibility to mentor the young minds entrusted to their care. I believe this group used the hardship of the lacrosse students to advance their own careers and agendas to the detriment of those student athletes. Mob mentality has no place in a professional setting. There must be some form of retribution for this great injustice. If nothing else, these group of 88 faculty members should be held accountable so that they do not advance at Duke and optimally they should be replaced with more mature candidates for the esteemed positions. |
| 911 | Luana MacLachlan Hofeling | Does the President of Duke join any group that is protesting? Seems to me he was alligned with the 88 professors who acted like a bunch of haters condemning the students without any proof. By the way, who in their (the three youong men) press conference represented Duke much better than the infamous 88. I also want to see an investigation into nifong, the police department, and the profs at the university who were so fast to condemn 3 white young men without any proof. Thanks to the Econ profs who are standing up. I would also like to see a list of their names. |

| 913 | Anonymous | the 'gang' of 88 and some very high administrators owe the university and especially the lacrosse players an apology.
i remain anonymous only to protect my offspring from retaliation by the 'gang' thank you |
| 914 | Judith Anderson Hilton-Janis | Please consider directing your efforts to re-establishing credible and meaningful leadership within the Duke community, starting at the top. As a Duke alum who has always depicted my degree as an "appreciating asset," I am impressed and appreciative of your reasoned, consistent contesting of the treatment of the lacrosse players by the own university leadership. |
| 915 | George Tiedeman | I am appalled at the lack of basic Constitutional rights and processes accorded the accused by the Duke administration, Duke faculty, the press, the black community and, most of all, the legal system.
I am a retired combat Naval Aviator with a son in the Marine Corps (now in Afghanistan). What has happened in this case goes against all we who serve fight for - to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic.
We have met the domestic enemies. Would that we could exclude such people from our protection and let them fall into the hands of the Taliban! Take note... |
| 916 | mary christiansen | The board and president must respond to this outrage. All of the gang of 88 must be punished. A formal written apology must follow to the students and to the country. |
| 917 | peter wilson | This case was a criminal miscarriage of justice and Duke faculty collaborated in its 'execution' of three innocent students. I hope there is a full apology forthcoming with appropriate and just compensation for the students and their families.
