I would like to draw attention to the Roulette and gaming machines in most of the large bookmakers. These are known as Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (FOBT's). I would like the public to be aware of their additive properties, and how it is possible for the users of these machines to lose large sums of money in a relatively short time. Although it is true that it is the choice of the individual to use these machines, I feel that there should be more regulatory information, and guidelines available to ensure that the people that play the machines are aware of the odds of winning, the payout procedures, and also the addictive properties they can create.
