Name: Jason Flores on Apr 8, 2010Comments: I complete disagree with this extra charge. It is ludacris to think that people who are traveling any distance for a short period of time would not have a carry on bag. What's next charging for space under the seat in front of you or for personal items? How about bathrooms or oxygen? This fee makes it harder to consumers buying tickets to be able to compare prices between airlines because they each charge different additional feesFlag

Name: Scott on Apr 9, 2010Comments: These airline fees have gone way too far. I for one will never fly Spirit or any other airline that charges for carry-on's or restroom use. I fly a few times a year and am sick of being charged for everything except oxygen- or will they charge for that too next? Most people have to carry something on that fits in the overhead bins when they travel. Very few people would be able to travel without them. The airlines know this and that you can do little about it so they're taking advantage of you to make extra profit. It's about time someone puts a stop to this abuse!Flag

Name: Anonymous on Apr 9, 2010Comments: i think charges should be all-inclusive in the ticket. to nickel & dime travelers is just insane. to charge to use the restroom? whats that going to do in the long run. "oh, i can hold it" cut to "we're sorry for the delay, the cleaners are having trouble sanitizing the plane seats and floors for your comfort". i think for checked baggage there could be a charge, since of the weight, but for cabin bags, forget about it.Flag

Name: Hugh Porter on Apr 9, 2010Comments: The charging of added fees for basic services such as hold and on board luggage fees and restroom usage is outrageous. These fees in particular should be outlawed. Further more, and additional fees charged should be taxed.Flag

Name: Meldon K. Iida on Apr 9, 2010Comments: These extra fees are beyond ridiculous. Include it in the fare or don't charge me for it. That includes extra fees for checked luggage and aisle or window seats, carry on baggage, toilets, blankets. I want to see airlines succeed but don't "fee" me to death or I won't patronize you.Flag

Name: Michael Tovee on Apr 9, 2010Comments: We accept paying for food on domestic services. To use a restroom, surely is against human rights. Over head baggage. I would agree when I see over stuffed wheelies that damage luggage bins and slow boarding. There should be a size restriction. Less than a wheelie. Wheelies should be checked free of charge, and charges made to take on board. It's the wrong way round.Flag

Name: Linda Hohnholz on Apr 9, 2010Comments: Really, enough truly is enough. When you buy a car, you don't have to pay extra to get a trunk. When you go shopping at the mall, you don't have to pay to use a restroom. There really ought to be some inalienable rights to basic services when it comes to airlines. This is not the way to keep America moving - literally and figuratively.Flag
