Realizing, water is our most precious natural resource, but today many areas of North America face severe water shortages and drought and that the average citizen can make numerous small changes that will help conserve this precious resource,

I pledge to do one small part to conserve water by placing a small jar into each and every toilet tank in my home. This will conserve water by using less water with each and every flush. In addition, I will recruit two other individuals to take this pledge.

I am a student who was suppossed to prove that I could save water by putting a jar in the toilet tank. Well I realized that the amount I could save was insignificant when you think about all the water that is wasted. Therefore I will not only save water in my own toilet but I will convince two other people to do the same. I hope you will too.
