EVERYONE IS AFFECTED!! Even if you dont own property in Florida, OUR JOBS, and those of those we know are in jeopardy if we don\'t take action NOW. The people of the State of Florida wish to have a special election this summer, to be followed by a special session for lawmakers to pass into law an amendment to the Florida constitution to allow portability of the homestead exemption benefit to transfer with the homeowner upon the sale of real property. This new amendment shall allow homeowners to carry the homestead exemption benefits with them within the State of Florida, a maximum of one time every two years. Upon passing into law, City and County officials can set their budgets into effect prior to the October deadline of 2007.
