Dear Florida State Representatives, Senators and Governor Crist, We the undersigned, ask that you protect our right to choose who we want to do business with. We are tax-paying, voting adults, fully capable of making our own decisions about what we are willing to pay for the product and service we desire to purchase. We do not now, nor have we ever, needed you, or the Office of Insurance Regulation, telling us who we CANNOT have as our auto insurance carrier. Do not support any attempt to require insurance companies to sell "all or nothing". You have already made a mess of the property insurance business in Florida, please leave auto insurance alone. We will "vote" with our dollars for the company we think is best. We will likewise, cast our ballot in future elections for the public servants who finally come to the realization that their job is to make the tough decisions based on what is truly in the best interest of the citizens of this state instead of what is most politically expedient. What is best for Florida's citizens is healthy competition between financially strong companies.
