Florida Death with Dignity Act

286 Signatures Goal: 80,000

The Oregon and Washington Death with dignity Acts allow mentally competent, terminally ill adult state residents to voluntarily request and receive prescription medication to hasten their death. This is one of the many end-of-life care options available in Oregon and Washington.

Let's pass legislation to allow terminally ill adult residents in the state of Florida the same human freedom.

I wouldn't want to be a burden to my family should I become disabled and/or significantly ill. I would like to retain my autonomy and continue to exercise my rights in a dignified humane manner. To me it would be the best gift...

I think the people of Florida should have the option of the death with dignity act.

People should be able to pass with dignity and respect. Suffering is not an option.
