Florence and the Machine are a world class UK recording band. They have a massive following and that's the type of artist the UK need to win Eurovision. Most of our acts have been "nobodies" who have been selected as a result of public voting on Saturday night TV show's. Now, I don't know about you but most people are out on a Saturday night. The bulk amount of UK citizens required for a decent act to win one of these shows and ultimately Eurovision. The UK have a rich amount of award winning acts, yet every year we insist on the typical cheesey act. Take Katrina and the Waves with their performance of Love Shine a Light who won us the contest back in 1997. Nothing since then. So it's time we consult one of the most beloved acts of the UK and win Eurovision with Florence & the Machine.
