Stop the approval of the flood plain

The eastern side of Livingston, Montana is protected by a dyke that was created in 1996 by residents of this area. It's sole purpose was to prevent the happening of a flood. The City commission wants to put this area on a flood plain map. This could drop the value of business and home real estate property. You cannot rebuild or remodel anything pertaining to your home once on the flood plain. If you have property next to a body of water then someday this may happen to you. Please sign this petition to protect the value of our property and the futures of our families. Thank you
