Comments: I cannot believe that the council could be wiling to put local children's safety at risk when there are many other ways they could cut costs

Comments: i live in bagillt i think its discusting taking the bus away from the kids , i for one wont allow my child to walk along a duel caridge way then up a busy high street to school. we pay our taxes in bagillt too you know and what do we have to show for it in the village. would you allow your children to walk that distance to school on a daily basis.

Comments: Flintshire County Council should be putting the needs of children before budgets. How about cutting back on council officials expense accounts before putting childrens lives at risk. Disgraceful.

Comments: I think it's a disgrace and Flintshire County Council should be ashamed of themselves for putting children's lives at risk. I had 2 letters sent to the same address as I have 2 children that use the bus, I wonder how may more people had more than 1 letter, little changes like this could save the council money rather than pulling the plug on the school transport. At 7.30/7.45 on a winter morning, when my children will have to walk to school, it is still dark, there is insufficient lighting along their route and the amount of heavy traffic that use the bypass makes it a danger to walk along. I think the council need to reconsider it's decision.

Comments: Flintshire ccc must not be allowed to pt the lives of children at risk. \i'm sure if they did a risk assessment they would not stop the bus.

Comments: This is just ridiculous, there are kids who live at the Boot End using this bus to get to Flint High, that's a 3 mile walk, on one of the worst roads ever. And being honest to have to walk that far to school don't you think kids are uninterested in school at that age as it is? All this will succeed in doing is dropping attendance rates at an already sub standard school.
