As we all know,Flint is in a dire situation. When Flint's local government decided to save money and switched water source to the Flint River, the people knew that the river wasn't a good idea. The people of Flint's elected officials toasted champagne as they made the switch anyways.

Now the people are left to pay for poison.

It has been stated that some families have decided to stop paying the city of Flint for obvious reasons, who would willfully pay another person for poisoned, non-potable water. Since then some families have been under the threat of losing their children to Child Protective Services because they do not have running water to their homes from deciding not to pay up to the city.

The people that made the switch should be held responsible for what they've done and ignorance is no excuse from the law.

If ISIS poisoned people's water, they would be held accountable. Let's ensure that the local officials of Flint, Michigan are held accountable for their actions instead of rewarded for their crimes. It's not legal to poison people's water no matter what the circumstances are.
