The first independent Artisan bakery in Holborn in 50 years is under threat by a misguided and irrational campaign of opposition by one vocal minority. Our desire is to wind back the clock to a time when baking actually takes place on the premises. We also believe in creating an inviting location where people can come in to eat from early morning until the evening, with the option of interesting ciders from Devon or a organic wine if they choose. According to the objectors The Fleet River Bakery will: "Make life unsupportable" and "be hell" "Present a danger to children" "Attract homeless people as they are selling cider" Sign the Petition in support of our upcoming Licensing Appeal to the Magistrates Court.

In the tradition of Lincoln's Inn, the Fleet River Bakery was once home to a law firm. Soon this classic 1930s building will be home to an artisan bakery, a cafe selling homemade fare and much more. On the ground floor, our Italian coffee machine will serve a delicious blend of single estate beans sourced by the Monmouth Coffee Company, in addition to regular guest filter coffees. Baking from the early morning, the Fleet River Bakery will serve gourmet sandwiches, quiches, pies, freshly made salads and soups, as well as tempting cakes, biscuits and pastries. www.fleetriverbakery.com
