Sally GilesWE CAN ALL PAY NOW OR REALLY PAY LATER IN SO MANY WAYS. PLEASE KEEP THIS FUNDING IN PLACE.
Kristi Anweiler
Sharon Forman-KressAgain, we pay the politicians and ignore our investment in tomorrow, our children. If we do not take care of our children now then in the future we will be spending more money on prisons and welfare to try to fix what we have not done when they are young. Where are our priorities?
Bruce RouslinHRS failed and the outsourced replacement is failing because the state won't belly up to the bar to do whats needed to solve this problem. Money can help solve this problem.

Rebecca CuttingPlease dont cut the adoption subsidy. I am a single women who has recently adopted a sibling group of 4 special needs children. The subsity helps to provide the money needed for gas, meals, and community outings that we would not otherwise be able to afford. My children have already been abused enough with out the state taking money from them that they otherwise would not have. PLEASE,PLEASE, reconsider these cuts, not only for my children but for thiose still in the overcrowded foster care system.

Linda SackettPunishing the youngest of society for a life they never asked for is totally unheard of for anyone with half a brain!!!
Cynthia L. MundyIf you have ever known a child who has no home or family they can trust you could never possibly take the monies that can help them trust an adult again. Or feel even a little understanding and most of all love.
KATHLEEN A. GARDNER
jacqueline sconeThe children will be the ones to suffer. As a 3 time adoptive parent, I am positive that they deserve the support of our state funding.

Michael BatesThis is a field that is already struggling to make ends meet to provide services to our community's most vulnerable members.
Melissa LaveryI am absolutely disgusted that you would even consider cutting benefits for adopted children. Find another area to make a budget cut, you have seriously misjudged this one. We should be committed to taking care of these children, not "cutting" them as if they are disguarded trash.
Diane AgrusaChildren are the future of this country and abused children deserve the best that we can givethem!!!

Angela FaheyWe adopted our daughter from the foster care system. She has numerous medical problems along with severe trauma related issues. The adoption subsidy is needed to help in her care. Please do not cut the adoption subsidy program.
susan sallythis is a sad state when we have to take away from our children why not cut the pay of congress and the benefits that congress recieves for free maybe they should have to pay for their own health care and that would save enough money !!!!!
AnonymousI have worked for the Dept. of Children & Families for almost 23 years, both in Foster Care unit and in Child Abuse Investigations Units, so I realize from a personal frontline view how serious the affects of these budget cuts will be to the abused children of our state. The Child Protective Investigators I work with on a daily basis are often very overwhelmed with the workloads they carry now, and if more positions are cut, they will be even more overwhelmed and just not able to do the thorough job they want to do, and this is sad as they are caring, conscious workers, and the worst part is some children may suffer from a worker missing something they should've noticed, but didn't because they are reaching a "burn-out" stage with their workloads.

Kevin DoyleThe subsidy is essential to our special needs adopted children. It can provide the educational and developmental care to allow them to reach their full potential
michael sappkeep taking away from the children so when we need them they will have nothing to give
AnonymousI have a adopted a special needs child. Without help, we would not be able to meet her medical needs each month.
