Dear Fellow Agents, 

 
I am writing you in regards to an issue I have seen and attempted to have addressed about the MLS history mistakes that nearly all Kansas City area condo buildings have. If you have a condo listing that has a separate unit name/number you will probably notice that when you pull up the history for your listing that the page is filled with the history of many units in that building. 

The large amounts of data on the history page in my opinion doesn't help the marketability of our listings. I called Heartland MLS to address the issue. I took the response as such, there is anything we can do about this issue and that they are looking into it. I stressed that it is important to have clear data and that this could hurt my listing. I took the following answer as such, a good agent will be able to distinguish between the data and make the proper decision on how to proceed. 

In this market, we as agents would prefer to work with the most experienced agents, but simply do not have that option. We don't need strong agents as much as we need a strong buyer. With that said, if any agent of any caliber looks at the history and forms any opinion that is negative about the listing then we now have another hurdle in which we have to cross to get our listings sold. 
I cannot find any positives to having an incorrect history. If you agree, please sign this petition so we can grow the size of the concern and get this issue fixed. Even if you do not have a listing that is affected but agree please sign the petition.
