Comments: I am sick and tired of those who have been ELECTED by US to protect our interest, turning that position into one of protecting their own interests. Granted, a position of importance should come with some perks, but the perks they vote for themselves are outrageous. NO PERSON IN A POSITION OF AUTHORITY SHOULD EVER BE ALLOWED TO VOTE TO GIVE THEMSELVES A RAISE, OR TO ESTABLISH SUCH OUTRAGEOUS PERKS. IF OUR REPRESENTATIVES/CONGRESS ETC, FEEL THEY DESERVE A RAISE THEN IT SHOULD BE PUT TO THE VOTE OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. LET US DECIDE IF YOU HAVE DONE YOUR JOB AND IF YOU DESERVE A RAISE. HOW MANY OF US CAN JUST VOTE TO GIVE OURSELVES A RAISE OR GIVE OURSELVES OUTRAGEOUS BENEFITS TO LAST LONG AFTER WE LEAVE A POSITION I DO NOT AGREE, TO HAVE MY TAX MONEY, PAY FOR RETIRED POLITICIANS TO LIVE A LIFE OF LUXURY WHILE THE MAJORITY OF SENIORS I KNOW ARE HAVING TO WORK IN THEIR RETIREMENT YEARS JUST TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD FOOD AND MAYBE MEDICATION. AND NO, NOT ALL SENIORS ARE HAVING TO DO THIS DUE TO POOR PLANNING ON THEIR PART. THE ONLY FAIR THING..THEY GET WHAT WE GET..PERIOD.

Comments: What other job allows you to continue to get this level of benefits This is definitely a place where money could be saved. I am tired of paying for gold toilet seats for those involved in politics. If you want a gold toilet seat, pay for it yourself. Don't use my money to do it.

Comments: This is long over-due. This Country needs to take of the people who work for a living. If the Congress and Senate thinks so much of themselves, what do they really think of the people who really make this Country work Let them go on Social Security and Medicare and see how fast they fix the prescription price gouging also!
