- Pedimos que a seguinte proposta seja rejeitada:
*A Federação Internacional de Vôlei aprovou a proposta que permitirá apenas dois estrangeiros ao mesmo tempo em quadra a partir da temporada 2008/2009. A medida, que foi sancionada pelos presidentes de comissões e por 38 membros que integram o Conselho de Administração da FIVB durante uma reunião encerrada na noite da última quinta-feira em Lausanne, na Suíça, será submetida a discussão durante o Congresso Mundial do organismo, no mês de junho, em Dubai, para uma aprovação definitiva.
Ratificada, a regra será aplicada a todos os clubes afiliados à Federação Internacional de Vôlei (FIVB).
A limitação de estrangeiros por clube foi um dos principais acordos adotados. Para a temporada 2009-2010, as equipes só poderão contratar quatro estrangeiros, e dois deles poderão ser escalados ao mesmo tempo. Na temporada 2010-2011, a FIVB defende a redução de três estrangeiros por clube, mantendo apenas dois em quadra simultaneamente.
Apesar de aprovada pela FIVB, a proposta da redução de estrangeiros nos clubes será submetida a discussão durante o Congresso Mundial.*
Pedimos que nesse congresso,essa nova proposta seja rejeitada.

*The rule to be proposed to the FIVB World Congress as discussed Thursday by the FIVB Board:
The Board discussed how to increase the actual number of local players to play in each Club in order to protect the identity and culture of each country. The ultimate goal for the Board is to have nine local players and three players coming from other National Federations, allowing two players simultaneously on court at any one time for each Club. The Board agreed to increase gradually the number of local players in each Club.
For the 2008/2009 season a maximum of two players coming from other National Federations will be allowed simultaneously on court for each Club. For the 2009/2010 season the Clubs will be allowed to register a maximum of four players coming from other National Federations, permitting the participation of two players coming from other National Federations on court at the same time.
For the 2010/2011 season and on, nine local players and three players coming from other National Federations will be allowed to be registered per Club, allowing only two players coming from other National Federations, simultaneously, on the court at the same time.
Though approved by the FIVB, the proposal of reducing the foreign clubs will be subject to discussion during the World Congress .*
We ask that in this Congress, this new proposal is rejected.
