Any child that wants to learn any First Nation, Metis or Inuit Language should have the right to do so in any public school. The school boards have the responsibility to ensure our children are receiving the best education possible. Without giving our children their basic rights to these classes the schools boards are not meeting their responsibilities to our children. Canada and the USA committed genocide upon these people threw them in residential and boarding schools took away their languages so it is our Governments responsibility to bring their languages back.
