I speak for the majority of the KC Metro area when I say that Jason Whitlock should be fired from his writing career with the Kansas City Star. As a person who has lived in KC his whole life, I can personally testify to several of Mr. Whitlock's racist and prejudice comments on and off the record. He obviously has lost what little credibility and talent he had when he started writing for the Star. He uses his own experiences from his unsuccessful football career to justify his statements and rants. Like many people that grew up with his background, he feels that he is owed something simply because he has worked in one position for so long. Please accept this petition of signatures from the citizens of KC to justify his release and please hire someone to replace him that can restore the credibility of the sports coverage that was once great in the city's paper.
