Comments: Classless. How irrelavent and groundless it is for a sports columnist to berate the fans of a team he's willing to travel halfway across the country to see... prior to that game. He's uninformed and CLEARLY playing antagonist for his own amusement and publicity. Pathetic.

Comments: The July 31st article by T.J. titled, "Nebraska fans, lend him your ears -- and more," was not only an insult to T.J.'s own intelligence, but an insult to all readers. I am shocked that the LA Times would really print something like this.

Comments: Simers is an idiot, an assclown, a douche bag, a moron, and on and on...and as someone mentioned, he's probably a closet racist. I haven't read his Times columns in a long time, and can barely tolerate the radio show he co-hosts with his daughter and Fred Roggin. I actually feel for Roggin and Tracy Simers, to a lesser extent, for having to put up with a bitter, out of touch old man. I think the real reason why he doesn't like taking phone calls from listeners is because he's afraid to be put in his place by the callers.

Comments: People wonder what's going on with the world these days. I have to agree. Especially when the LA Times lets a foul "sports" writer like Simers keep his job. I have never been so offended by any media be it telveision, radio or newspaper/magazine as I have been in your own paper by Simers. You really should be ashamed of yourselves for keeping this parasite around.

Comments: TJ Simers just likes to stir the pot and create drama. He is a bad apple in an otherwise insightful and informative LA Times sports crew. He gives the paper a bad name. He should be writing for the national enquirer, not a top level publication like the LA Times.

Comments: The guy is 60-years-old and he still goes by T.J.! Is that a 3/4 life crisis He is not a journalist. He writes columns which, as a former journalist my self, is the easiest think to write. Then in his columns, he makes up 1/2 his facts. His article on Nebraska is a good example of that.
