Comments: A despicable pig of a human being whose latest affront comes in his column on Barbaro. He's a hateful pecker to the memory of this animal but he also shows his true misogynistic colors. Doesn't deserve to be paid to write professionally.

Comments: As a psychotherapist for 30 years I can tell you that Simers is not only disgusting but has a severe personality disorder, that is basically incurable. There is enough hate in this world without the LA Times subjecting us to someone who is so mentally disturbed.

Comments: I hope that you will show your true colors by firing this pathetic excuse for a journalist. I have never heard of a journalist more despicable then this man and have no idea why you would keep someone like that on your staff. He will only bring your establishment down! Barbaro was a great athlete and he and those who loved him do not deserve to be treated in such a despicable manner!

Comments: As someone who spends every waking hour caring for equine athletes. I am appalled by the comments made by T.J. Simmers about Barbaro. His words, directed at a grieving horse industry were flat out cruel. The editor of this paper should be ashamed to have allowed that column in print.

Comments: I was very upset by the article he recently wrote on Barbaro. Even Gary Stevens, the famous jockey (he was in Seabiscuit), wrote a very interesting reply. T.J. showed no respect for the support and no understanding of the subject matter. For an expert, and to have a column, it is absolutly ridiculous that he have such little knowledge of a sport.

Comments: TJ Simers is a talentless hack. His recent columns about the death of racehorse Barbaro had all the creativity of a 9 year old bully trying to "impress" his classmates. Why are they paying him Can him and donate his inflated salary to The Barbaro Fund at UPenn.
