Chris Berman wasn't exactly brilliant, but at least he tried. Al Leiter is fine. He makes incisive comments, seems non-partisan, and educates viewers. Joe Buck is the master of the obvious. Tim McCarver is a completely partisan announcer who seems to have forgotten how the game is actually played. I have watched the last three ALCS games on mute, because I literally can't deal with their commentary anymore. |
