Name: John Kihlmire on Apr 29, 2007Comments: Met fan here....As much as I hate the Yanks & Torre, I really think it should be on the GM for signing the players Torre put's out there. The bullpen is weak, your starters are old and injury prone...Rivera is old & I think he's time has come. Plus the team has way to many ego's to deal with...Arod, Jeter, Giambi, Damon thats alot of $$$$ It's time to get rid of Cashman, and start building the team in a better direction..Speed in the lineup, solid guy's in the pen, and non injury prone starters is a good start!Flag

Name: Eric Thai on Apr 29, 2007Comments: I agree wholeheartedly. Joe Torre's managerial skills have declined so much so that he's just a shell of what he was in the past. I am particular disturbed by the boneheaded moves he makes that even as someone who used to like him, make me scratch my head. Please replace him with Joe Girardi as he has shown to be able to motivate a team to peform above their capabilities last year. He would be a perfect fit to this Yankee team, which is loaded with talent but lack the kind of leadership that Girardi will bring with him. Please do not sacrific this season by sitting idly by and allow Torre to ruin our chances to win another pennant.Flag

Name: Mike Pacella on Apr 29, 2007Comments: Pettitte should never be used in relief, even if he volunteers. Mientkiewicz batting 2nd the other day was an absolute joke. Joe was a breath of fresh air when he started. He was great with the type of ball player we had in the late 90s...the gritty gutty hit and run move the runner over type guys... Now, with a bunch of superstars, it's apparent he's no longer a proper fit. Of course, I'm not sure if anybody is with the state of this pitching staff and bullpen.Flag

Name: Mike on May 27, 2007Comments: He needs to go, Joe is a "manager" who can barely think what needs to be done in order to win a close game, everytime the starter is loosing he pulls him off the game and the relief pitchers IN THE 6TH INNING give up the same amount of runs as the starter... ugh!!! this is a game of pitchers and if a starter pitcher is doing OK he must let that pitcher in HIS game...Flag
