Name: Scot Boyd on May 1, 2006Comments: Season ticket holder and primary reason my firm has season tickets as well. All reports say that Coach is a very nice man...maybe that is the problem, he seems incapable of motivating the veterans or mentally preparing the team for road (and many home) games. The franchise is turning into the joke of MLS.Flag

Name: Scott Thompson on May 1, 2006Comments: It is time for a change. Ellinger had his shot, but his methods are not working. A 16 game stretch without a win is just too much. I'm in sales. If I fail to close 16 clients in a row I would certainly be fired.Flag

Name: Eric Benedetti on May 1, 2006Comments: After 17 straight games without a victory someone has to be questioned. Sheer odds in playing in the MLS would show that a team put on the field would win 1 of those 17 games. Ellinger and Co. have not and his time is out. This is a critical moment in building the RSL foundation. The second year is a time to show fans an entertaining product that will keep them coming back for years into the future. Ellinger has not shown any ability so far to bring this entertaining product to the field. In over a year he has failed as a head coach. One can place some blame on the players, but after overhauling the roster during the regular season last year and this last offseason, it is apparent that Coach Ellinger is over his head in this league. The team would make the best decision by releasing Coach Ellinger and finding a suitable replacement.Flag
