Name: Matthew Smith on Aug 5, 2003State: KYCountry: USComments: This show has turned into a complete mess under the pen of Ms. Weston. Instead of a deep and moving drama about the residents of Springfield (as it was under the wonderful guidence of Millee Taggert), it's become a series of plot driven movies of the week strung together by the lamest of plot twists and a stable of characters who have stopped acting and reacting like people we, the viewers, know and love. It is my deepest concern that if the longest running series in broadcasting history continues in this manner, it won't live to see another 2 years let alone another 50.Flag

Name: Marcus Boston on Aug 5, 2003State: LACountry: USComments: Loyal Guiding Light fans have had enough of Ellen Weston and her ridiculous storylines. She has no ablitity as a writer and she has no respect her the history of Guiding Light. We are sick of her running our beloved show into the groung. If she is left to continue destroying our show, it just might be cancelled. Ellen Weston is a talentless writer who couldn't even write a biography about her own self without screwing it up. FIRE HER IMMEDIATELY.Flag

Name: Christopher Kelly on Aug 20, 2003State: VACountry: USComments: Someone that knows the shows history and understands continuing drama needs to be headwriter of Guiding Light. Being able to write stories, 3 at a time, one in its early stages, one in the middle stages, and one wrapping up, that is part of writing daytime drama, not the way Ellen Weston writes like piece mail.Flag

She is not writing FOR the characters she is recreating every single one of them and writing for the least favorite of all characters. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PRONTO!Flag
