    Comments: Honestly, who PLAYS for a 47 yard field goal and then blames the man who picked off the ball to give them the opportunity for being "too fancy" on the return This is just another in a long line of Holmgren mistakes that has gravely cost this team, he is a coward and shameless in never accepting the outcome of any game. This is a team with a solid, improving core of players who have been held back by the ineptness of the coach. I still love the football season, but it is now more stressful than enjoyable, I never trust this team to win and it all goes back to not trusting the man pulling the trigger--Mike Holmgren.

Here is the entire seahawks coaching history starting with name, then win/loss, then playoff win/loss, then superbowl appearances. Let us begin. Jack Patera 1976-1982 35-59 never made playoffs 0-0 Mike McCormack 1982 4-3 never made playoffs 0-0 Chuck Knox 1983-1991 80-63 3-4 in the playoffs never made SB Tom Flores 1992-1994 14-34 Never made playoffs 0-0 Dennis Erickson 1995-1998 31-33 Never made Playoffs 0-0 Mike Holmgren 1999-2008 82-62 4-6 in playoffs First SB appearance in franchise history. Lost to Steelers 21-10 in a terribly officiated game where he stuck his neck out and defended our team by stating that we knew we were playing a tough team, a great team, the steelers. We did not know we were playing the men in stripes. Few coaches will put their head on the chopping block like he did. Jim L. Mora 2009- We will see how he does though I am seeing a bright future for our franchise. So to all you who complain that we should fire Mike Holmgren you are fools. Out of 6 coaches in our franchise history, he has the best win loss ratio for the amount games played, 1 of only 2 coaches we have ever had capable of taking us to the playoffs, and the ONLY coach we have ever had able to lead us to the SB! Now he will be retiring from football for a while and Jim Mora will be taking over in 2009. I am happy with this and only hope he does AS GOOD as the last. But before I would ever fire him as our coach I would gladly fire all of you ignorant fans who pretend to know about our teams history and keep him at the helm to start from scratch. For if you had the power to hire and fire that scrub Dennis Erickson would probably still be our coach even though he left to go ruin another team....heard of the 49ers recently having a winning record NO! Cause they are still trying to fix the mess he made of their team while Holmgren came in and made repairs and led our team to a bright future. If there was a football hell, I know yall would be burning in it, so go join the Colts or Pats bandwagon and leave the real Seahawks Fans to their team.
